Life and register readings
Manuel Efendi was born in Tokat in 1856/57 (AH 1273). The first salary was 0 kuruş a month. The annual lists begin in 1896/97, with Manuel as Kaymakam Vekili in Akdağmadeni (Akdağ), where the entries run to 1906/07. Alongside, the lists for 1898/99 give a second post, in Karamürsel as Kaymakam Muavini. The annual lists then follow Manuel to Soufli in 1899/1900 and Akdağmadeni in 1905/06. The last posts were in Erdek from 1906 to 1910. In place of a title the lists give Infisal for 1909/10.
