Life and register readings
Süleyman Asaf Bey was born in Bursa vilâyeti in 1879/80 (AH 1297), into the İslam community. At about 17, in 1897/98, Süleyman Asaf began work. The annual lists begin in 1897/98, with Süleyman Asaf as muhâsebe-i tenzil baş mer’ umûmiliği (mülazemet) and no place named. The lists give İstifa (resignation) for 1904/05 and 1909/10; Infisal for 1906/07 instead of a title.
