Life and register readings
Born in Diyarbakır in 1851/52 (AH 1268), Hüseyin Sabri Efendi came from the İslam community. At about 15, in 1866/67, Hüseyin Sabri began work, on a first salary of 75 kuruş. The annual lists begin in 1866/67, with Hüseyin Sabri as Tahrirat Kalemi katibi in Siirt, where the entries run to 1870/71. Alongside, the lists for 1870 to 1872 give a second post, in Diyarbakır as Mektubçu odası mülazımı. The annual lists then follow Hüseyin Sabri to Siirt and Diyarbakır from 1872 to 1885. Alongside, the lists for 1884/85 give a second post, in Mosul as Vilayet Müddei-i Umumi Muavini. Next came five places in 13 years. The last entries, from 1902 to 1910, name Hüseyin Sabri as Merkez Bidayet Mahkemesi Müddei-i Umumi Vekili, with no place.
