Life and register readings
The life of Mustafa Hulusi Efendi began in Safranbolu in 1869/70 (AH 1286). The personnel record dates the first work in Istanbul to 1894/95, after the first annual entry. The first annual entry, for 1889/90, names Mustafa Hulusi as askerlik (başçavuş), with no place. At the same time, from 1894 to 1911, the lists also place Mustafa Hulusi in Istanbul as a candidate official (Mülazım), with a rise to Iskele Memuru in 1896/97. The lists have no entry for 1904 to 1907. For 1908 to 1910 the lists have no entry.
