Life and register readings
The life of Hüseyin Hüsnü Efendi began in Kars. The first annual entry, for 1850/51 (AH 1267), names Hüseyin Hüsnü as muhasebe muavini, with no place, with a rise to Asar Muduru in 1881/82. For 1851 to 1865, 1867 to 1869, 1871 to 1876, 1879 to 1881 and 1883 to 1888 the lists have no entry. The annual lists then follow Hüseyin Hüsnü to Jeddah in 1889/90.
