Life and register readings
Born in Harput in 1860/61 (AH 1277), Mehmed Tevfik Efendi came from the İslam community. The annual lists begin in 1879/80, with Mehmed Tevfik as Tahrirat kâtibi in Mazgirt. Alongside, the lists for 1880 to 1883 give a second post, in Pah as Tahrirat kâtibi. Mehmed Tevfik then moved to Mazgirt from 1883 to 1885. For 1885 to 1889 the lists have no entry.
