Life and register readings
Minas Efendi was born in Sis in 1854/55 (AH 1271). At about 15, in 1869/70, Minas began work, on a first salary of 30 kuruş. The annual lists begin in 1869/70, with Minas as Muhasebe Kalemi kayıt işleri and no place named, with a rise to Mal Muduru in 1874/75. The lists have no entry for 1871 to 1874 and 1875 to 1884.
