Life and register readings
Born in Sivas in 1868/69 (AH 1285), Ömer Lütfi Efendi was the child of a tradesman (esnaf). At about 15, in 1882/83, Ömer Lütfi began work. The first annual entry, for 1882/83, names Ömer Lütfi as stajyer, with no place. For 1883 to 1886 the lists have no entry.
