Life and register readings
Nesim Soriçon Efendi was born in Istanbul in 1860/61 (AH 1277), into the Musevilik community. At about 19, in 1879/80, Nesim Soriçon began work, on a first salary of 240 kuruş. The first annual entry, for 1879/80, names Nesim Soriçon as Eczacılık refakati, with no place. The lists give Infisal for 1894/95 instead of a title.
