Life and register readings
Mehmed Celaleddin Efendi was born in Antakya in 1880/81 (AH 1298); the father's occupation was "Halep Vilayeti Telgraf ve Posta Müfettiş Muavini". The first annual entry, for 1893/94, places Mehmed Celaleddin in Istanbul as Telgraf stajyeri, where the entries run to 1899/1900.
