MEHMED SADIK EFENDĠ was born in Ibradi in 1835/36 (AH 1251). At about 30, in 1865/66, MEHMED SADIK EFENDĠ began work, on a first salary of 27 kuruş. The first annual entry, for 1865/66, names MEHMED SADIK EFENDĠ as Kadılık zabtı, with no place. Next came Geyve in 1871/72. Alongside, the lists for 1871 to 1879 give a second post, in a post with no place named as Kadılık zabtı. For 1876 to 1878 the lists have no entry. The annual lists then follow MEHMED SADIK EFENDĠ to Söke from 1882 to 1885. Alongside, the lists for 1884/85 give a second post, in Elmalı as Kadılık zabtı. MEHMED SADIK EFENDĠ then moved to Tavas, Göynük and Milas from 1885 to 1892. Alongside, the lists for 1892 to 1895 give a second post, in Cebeli bereket as Niyabet, with a rise to Niyabet. The last entries, from 1896 to 1899, name MEHMED SADIK EFENDĠ as Niyabet, with no place.

Pay rose from 27 kuruş a month in 1865/66 to a peak of 2,000 in 1892/93, as Niyabet in Cebeli bereket, when 92 per cent of paid officials earned less. The last annual entry is for 1898/99.
