Life and register readings
The life of Mehmed Hulusi Efendi began in Didymoteicho (Dimetoka) in 1875/76 (AH 1292); the father's occupation was "Mektep hocası". At about 19, in 1894/95, Mehmed Hulusi began work in Arapgir, on a first salary of 350 kuruş. The annual lists begin in 1894/95, with Mehmed Hulusi as Telgraf merkezi muhabere memuru in Arapgir. Alongside, the lists for 1894/95 give a second post, in Elazığ as Telgraf ve posta merkezi muhabere memuru. Mehmed Hulusi then moved back to Didymoteicho, the birthplace, from 1895 to 1897. Alongside, the lists for 1896 to 1903 give a second post, in Edirne as Telgraf ve posta başmüdüriyeti mukayyidi. Alongside, the lists for 1902 to 1904 give a second post, in Ioannina as Telgraf ve posta başmüdürü hakkında tahkikat görevi. The last posts were in Trabzon from 1905 to 1907.
