Life and register readings

The life of Mustafa Hilmi Efendi began in Kars. The annual lists begin in 1876/77 (AH 1293), with Mustafa Hilmi as a customs official (Rüsumat Memuru) and no place named. For 1878 to 1879 the lists have no entry. Mustafa Hilmi then moved to Erzurum from 1879 to 1882. Alongside, the lists for 1882/83 give a second post, in Ağrı as Rüsumat Memuru.
