Life and register readings
The life of Osman Nuri Efendi began in Tirana (Tiran) in 1867/68 (AH 1284); the father's occupation was "Tiran Rüşdiye Mektebi muallim-i sânîsi". Work began in Cebeli bereket in 1885/86, at about 18, on a first salary of 100 kuruş.
