Life and register readings

Mehmet Tayyar Bey was born in Erzincan into the İslam community. The schooling was at a school for young children (Sıbyan Mektebi). The first annual entry, for 1866/67 (AH 1283), names Mehmet Tayyar as Nahiye Muduru, with no place, with a rise to asakir-i zaptiye binbaşısı in 1867/68. For 1868 to 1871 and 1873 to 1876 the lists have no entry. The last posts were in Kurucay from 1878 to 1879 and Kumanovo (Kumanova) in 1888/89. The lists have no entry for 1884 to 1888.
