Life and register readings
The life of Rıfat Efendi began in Çemişgezek in 1879/80 (AH 1297); the father's occupation was "Çemişgezek kaza idare meclisi azası". The annual lists begin in 1900/01, with Rıfat as Aşar kolcusu and no place named. At the same time, from 1902 to 1904, the lists also place Rıfat in Çemişgezek as Tetkik-i bekaya katibi. For 1904 to 1908 the lists have no entry. The last posts were in Istanbul from 1908 to 1910.
