Life and register readings
The life of Ömer Vehbi Efendi began in Tokat in 1860/61 (AH 1277). The schooling was at a school for young children (Sıbyan Mektebi). At about 36, in 1896/97, Ömer Vehbi began work, on a first salary of 300 kuruş.
