Life and register readings

The life of İbrahim Besim Efendi began in Sivas in 1849/50 (AH 1266). The first annual entry, for 1876/77, names İbrahim Besim as stajyer (Nakil), with no place. Next came six places in 25 years, from Silivri to Izmir (İzmir). The lists have no entry for 1878 to 1879, 1883 to 1887, 1890 to 1897 and 1898 to 1903. From 1905 to 1907 the annual entries place İbrahim Besim again in İskenderun. In place of a title the lists give Infisal for 1877/78; Azil (dismissal) for 1897/98 and 1907/08.
