Hâfız Abdülbâki Efendi was born in Paşakeri in 1844/45 (AH 1260). The father’s occupation was Sıçanlu nahiyesi eski müdürü. Schooling included Sıbyan Mektebi; Karahisar-ı Sahib medreseleri. The language repertoire included Arabic, Persian and Turkish. [1]
