Life and register readings
Mustafa Reşid Efendi was born in Burdur in 1873/74 (AH 1290). Work began in Burdur in 1886/87, at about 14. Every annual entry from 1886/87 to 1907/08 places Mustafa Reşid in the same post, Tahrirat Kalemi stajyeri, in Burdur, the birthplace.
