Life and register readings
Born in Afyonkarahisar (Karahisar-ı Sahib) into the İslam community, MUSTAFA NAZIM EFEND İ was the child of a medrese teacher (müderris). The first annual entry, for 1880/81 (AH 1298), names MUSTAFA NAZIM İ as Ağnam Tadat Memuru, with no place.
