Mehmed Tevfik Efendi

Mehmed Tevfik Efendi was born in Antalya in 1876/77 (AH 1293); the father's occupation was "Ekmekçi". Work began in Antalya in 1892/93, at about 16. The first annual entry, for 1892/93, places Mehmed Tevfik in Antalya, the birthplace, as Ziraat Bankası şubesi mülazımı. At the same time, from 1895 to 1897, the lists also place Mehmed Tevfik in Diyarbakır as Ziraat Bankası şubesi ikinci kâtibi. Alongside, the lists for 1896 to 1903 give a second post, in Izmir as Ziraat Bankası şubesi hisse-i iane mukayyidi.
