Mustafa Şekib Bey

Mustafa Şekib Bey was born in Istanbul in 1853/54 (AH 1270); the father's occupation was "Sivas valisi". Work began in 1868/69, at about 15. The first annual entry, for 1868/69, names Mustafa Şekib as Şûrâ-yı Devlet mülazımı, with no place. Alongside, the lists for 1880/81 give a second post, in Karadag as Em lak-ı emiriye ve mevkufe komiseri. At the same time, from 1880 to 1901, the lists also place Mustafa Şekib in a post with no place named as Hariciye Nezareti Umur-ı Telgrafiye Odası müdürü. Alongside, the lists for 1885 to 1887 give a second post, in Sofia as Rumeli-i Şarki Komisyonu kâtibi. The last entries, from 1900 to 1909, name Mustafa Şekib as Washington sefiri, with no place.
