Life and register readings
Hüseyin Lütfü Efendi was born in Diyarbakır in 1850/51 (AH 1267). Work began in 1879/80, at about 29, on a first salary of 340 kuruş. The annual lists begin in 1879/80, with Hüseyin Lütfü as Nahiye Muduru and no place named. Next came Çemişgezek and Az Zaydiyah (Zeydiye) from 1882 to 1891, then a post with no place named from 1893 to 1903. For 1886 to 1889, 1891 to 1893, 1894 to 1902 and 1903 to 1909 the lists have no entry. Hüseyin Lütfü then moved to Sason from 1909 to 1911.
