MEHMED CEMAL EFENDĠ

Born in Antalya in 1864/65 (AH 1281), MEHMED CEMAL EFENDĠ was the child of a farmer (çiftçi). At about 16, in 1879/80, MEHMED CEMAL EFENDĠ began work. The annual lists begin in 1879/80, with MEHMED CEMAL EFENDĠ as Tahrirat kalemi mülazımı and no place named. For 1892 to 1894 the lists have no entry. Next came Ankara and Gelibolu from 1894 to 1900.
