Life and register readings
Mehmed Sabri Efendi was born in Bursa in 1875/76 (AH 1292), into the İslam community. Work began in 1894/95, at about 19. The annual lists begin in 1894/95, with Mehmed Sabri as Mulazemet and no place named. At the same time, from 1895 to 1900, the lists also place Mehmed Sabri in Bursa as Bursa (Okunamadı) ikinci kol harir-i tahmi tezkire tevzî me'murluğu. Alongside, the lists for 1899/1900 give a second post, in Gemlik as Gemlik Düyûn-ı umûmiye müdiriyeti.
