Life and register readings
The life of İbrahim Rüşdi Efendi began in Harput in 1857/58 (AH 1274). İbrahim Rüşdi began work in 1874/75, at about 16. The first annual entry, for 1874/75, names İbrahim Rüşdi as Şer‘î niyabet vekili, with no place. İbrahim Rüşdi then moved to Istanbul from 1876 to 1879. Alongside, the lists for 1878 to 1885 give a second post, in a post with no place named as Anadolu sadareti tezkirecisi.
