Mahmud Ferid Efendi’nin Urfa'nın havasına alışamamasından dolayı yerine başkasının tayin edilmesi üzerine 27 Zilkade 1317 ( 29 Mart 1900 ) tarihinde 540 kuruş maaşla Mersin Sancağı Bidayet Mahkemesi Müstantikliği'ne nakledildiği ve 21 Zilkade 1318 ( 12 Mart 1901 ) tarihinde istifa ederek görevinden ayrıldığı şube -i mezkurenin 24 Teşrinievvel 1321 ( 6 Kasım 1905 ) tarihli durum belgesinde gösterilmiştir.
