Life and register readings
Born in Aleppo (Halep) in 1878 (AH 1295), Necip Anastaki Efendi came from the Katolik community; the father was an attorney (dava vekili). Necip Anastaki began work in Aleppo in 1901/02, at about 23, on a first salary of 40 kuruş.
