Life and register readings
Osman Nuri Efendi was born in Piraziz in 1836/37 (AH 1252); the father was a deputy judge (naib). The first annual entry, for 1869/70, names Osman Nuri as Dördüncü sınıf Teftiş memuru, with no place. The lists have no entry for 1877 to 1884. Osman Nuri then moved to Kastamonu in 1884/85, then Ankara from 1889 to 1907. For 1885 to 1889 the lists have no entry. Alongside, the lists for 1906/07 give a second post, in a post with no place named as Tekaüt.
