Life and register readings
Born in Istanbul in 1874/75 (AH 1291), Hüseyin Sadeddin Bey was the child of a colonel (miralay). At about 24, in 1898/99, Hüseyin Sadeddin began work, on a first salary of 150 kuruş. The first annual entry, for 1898/99, names Hüseyin Sadeddin as Hazine-i Hassa Tahrirat Kalemi memuru, with no place. In place of a title the lists give Vefat (death) for 1908/09.
