Life and register readings
The life of Mahmud Nedim Efendi began in Sivas in 1878 (AH 1295); the father's occupation was "Bidayet Mahkemesi azası". The personnel record dates the first work in Merzifon to 1903/04, after the first annual entry, on a first salary of 600 kuruş. The annual lists begin in 1895/96, with Mahmud Nedim as Mekteb-i Tıbbiye-i Askeriye öğrencisi; hastalıkla kaydı silindi in Istanbul. For 1897 to 1903 the lists have no entry. Next came Merzifon from 1903 to 1908. The last posts were in Yozgat from 1908 to 1910.
