Life and register readings
Born in Mosul (Musul) in 1830/31 (AH 1246), SİİRD SANCAĞI MUTASARRIFI SAÎD PAŞA was the child of a medrese teacher (müderris). At about 19, in 1849/50, SİİRD SANCAĞI MUTASARRIFI SAÎD began work. The annual lists begin in 1849/50, with SİİRD SANCAĞI MUTASARRIFI SAÎD as Hazine kalemine devam in Baghdad (Bağdat). The lists have no entry for 1850 to 1852.
