Life and register readings
Osman Vehbi Efendi was born in Kemaliye (Eğin); the father's occupation was "Naib (Siverek)". Work began in Bayramiç in 1880/81 (AH 1298). The first annual entry, for 1880/81, places Osman Vehbi in Bayramiç as Nahiye naibi. Alongside, the lists for 1884 to 1888 give a second post, in İzmit as Bidayet mahkemesi başkâtibi.
