Turhan Hüsnü Beğ

Turhan Hüsnü Beğ was born in Tırhala in 1845/46 (AH 1262). At about 20, in 1866/67, Turhan Hüsnü Beğ began work in Istanbul. The first annual entry, for 1866/67, places Turhan Hüsnü Beğ in Istanbul as Bâb-ı Âli Tercüme Odası mülazımı, where the entries run to 1868/69. Alongside, the lists for 1868 to 1895 give a second post, in a post with no place named as Petersburg Sefareti ikinci kâtibi. Alongside, the lists for 1885 to 1887 give a second post, in Şanlıurfa as Urfa mutasarrıfı. Turhan Hüsnü Beğ then moved to Paris and Crete (Girit) from 1893 to 1896. Alongside, the lists for 1894 to 1897 give a second post, in Istanbul as Hariciye nazırı. The last entry, for 1898/99, names Turhan Hüsnü Beğ as Lahey Konferansı murahhası, with no place.
