Life and register readings
The life of Mehmed Kâmil Bey began in Curuksu; the father's occupation was "Dördüncü Ordu, 26. Alay kaymakamı". Work began in 1898/99 (AH 1316). The first annual entry, for 1898/99, names Mehmed Kâmil as Umur-ı Şehbenderî Kalemi mülazımı, with no place.
