Life and register readings
Born in Bursa in 1866/67 (AH 1283), Hüseyin Zihni Efendi came from the İslam community. At about 17, in 1883/84, Hüseyin Zihni began work. The first annual entry, for 1883/84, names Hüseyin Zihni as Mulazemet, with no place, with a rise to mübeyyiz-i sânî in 1892/93.
