SALİH SALİM EFENDİ (B)

SALİH SALİM EFENDİ (B) was born in Varna in 1870/71 (AH 1287). At about 22, in 1892/93, SALİH SALİM (B) began work in Istanbul, on a first salary of 400 kuruş. The annual lists begin in 1892/93, with SALİH SALİM (B) as Beyoğlu Telgraf Merkezi Muhaberat-ı Ecnebiye memuru in Istanbul, where the entries run to 1894/95. Alongside, the lists for 1894 to 1897 give a second post, in Jeddah as Cidde Telgraf ve Posta Merkezi Muhaberat-ı Ecnebiye memuru. Alongside, the lists for 1896 to 1898 give a second post, in a post with no place named as İstern Kablo Kumpanyası telgrafları teftiş ve tetkik memuru. Alongside, the lists for 1897 to 1906 give a second post, in Istanbul as Sirkeci Telgraf ve Posta Merkezi Muhabere memuru. In place of a title the lists give Infisal for 1897/98.
