Life and register readings
The life of Süleyman Hikmet Bey began in Gelibolu. The first annual entry, for 1902/03 (AH 1320), places Süleyman Hikmet in Kos as Aşar Kâtibi. Alongside, the lists for 1907 to 1909 give a second post, in Kos as Tahsil Memuru. In place of a title the lists give Infisal for 1906/07.
