Life and register readings
The life of Osman Nuri Efendi began in Safranbolu in 1873/74 (AH 1290). Work began in Istanbul in 1894/95, at about 21, on a first salary of 10 kuruş. The first annual entry, for 1894/95, names Osman Nuri as a candidate official (Mülazım), with no place. The lists have no entry for 1904 to 1906.
