Saraçzade Mehmet Emin Efendi

Saraçzade Mehmet Emin Efendi was born in Osmancik in 1830/31 (AH 1246). The schooling was at a school for young children (Sıbyan Mektebi). At about 28, in 1858/59, Saraçzade Mehmet Emin began work in Osmancik. The annual lists begin in 1858/59, with Saraçzade Mehmet Emin as Fahri meclis azası in Osmancik, the birthplace. The lists have no entry for 1859 to 1865. For 1866 to 1869 the lists have no entry. Alongside, the lists for 1871/72 give a second post, in Cide as a district governor (Kaymakam). The annual lists then follow Saraçzade Mehmet Emin to Araç in 1873/74. Alongside, the lists for 1873 to 1877 give a second post, in İskilip as Kaymakam. Alongside, the lists for 1876 to 1878 give a second post, in Kızılcahamam as Kaymakam. The last posts were in Sungurlu in 1878/79 and Cide again in 1882/83. The lists have no entry for 1879 to 1882.
