Life and register readings
The life of Mustafa Lütfi Efendi began in Bosna in 1861/62 (AH 1278); the father's occupation was "Mülkiye kaymakamı". Mustafa Lütfi began work in Istanbul in 1888/89, at about 27. From the first annual entry, for 1888/89, to 1890/91, every annual entry places Mustafa Lütfi in the same post, Telgraf Merkezi mülazımı, in Istanbul. The lists give Vefat (death) for 1895/96 instead of a title.
