Life and register readings

Mustafa Efendi was born in Kirkuk (Kerkük) in 1853/54 (AH 1270). The schooling was at a school for young children (Sıbyan Mektebi). At about 14, in 1867/68, Mustafa began work. The annual lists begin in 1867/68, with Mustafa as tahrirat kalemi mülazımı and no place named. For 1875 to 1877 the lists have no entry. Mustafa then moved to Baghdad in 1877/78. Alongside, the lists for 1877 to 1887 give a second post, in a post with no place named as belediye katibi. The lists have no entry for 1879 to 1881. For 1884 to 1886 the lists have no entry.
