Life and register readings
The life of MUSTAFA FAĠK EFENDĠ began in Gaziantep (Antep) in 1823/24 (AH 1239). The schooling was at Medrese, the Islamic college. Work began in 1845, at about 21, on a first salary of 1,000 kuruş. The first annual entry, for 1845, names MUSTAFA FAĠK EFENDĠ as 5. Ordu-yu Hümâyûn Meclisi başkâtibi, with no place. Next came Sidon in 1871/72, then a post with no place named from 1872 to 1886.
