Life and register readings
Osman Nuri Efendi was born in Malatya in 1878/79 (AH 1296); the father's occupation was "Çiftlikât-ı Hümayun Dava Vekâleti memuru". Work began in 1894/95, at about 16. The annual lists begin in 1894/95, with Osman Nuri as Tahrirat Kalemi mülazımı and no place named. At the same time, from 1898/99, the lists also place Osman Nuri in Malatya as Hazine-i Celile dava vekili (ilave memuriyet). The last post was in Niš (Niş) in 1907/08.
