Life and register readings
Born in Bursa in 1872/73 (AH 1289), Mehmed Said Efendi came from the İslam community; the father was a merchant (tüccar). At about 16, in 1888/89, Mehmed Said began work. The annual lists begin in 1888/89, with Mehmed Said as Mulazemet and no place named. For 1889 to 1892 the lists have no entry.
