Life#
Hüseyin Şinasi Efendi was born in Gotse Delchev (Nevrekop) in 1889/90 (AH 1307) into the Muslim (Müslüman) community; the father was a director (müdür). Schooling took seven years, at a middle school (Rüşdiye Mektebi).
Hüseyin Şinasi began work in Razlog (Razlık) in 1906/07, at about 16, paid from the start, on 250 kuruş a month. Every annual entry from 1908/09 to 1911 places Hüseyin Şinasi in the same post, Muvakkat Memuru, in Sidirokastro (Demirhisar).
