Life and register readings
The life of Mustafa Sıdkı Efendi began in Pristina (Priştine) in 1847/48 (AH 1264). Mustafa Sıdkı began work in Pljevlja (Taşlıca) in 1863/64, at about 16. The annual lists begin in 1863/64, with Mustafa Sıdkı as Mal Dairesi stajyeri in Pljevlja. Mustafa Sıdkı then moved to a post with no place named from 1865 to 1871, then Veliko Tarnovo in 1872/73 and Sliven in 1875/76. The lists have no entry for 1873 to 1875. Next came Bursa from 1877 to 1881. For 1881 to 1884 the lists have no entry. The last posts were in Vize in 1884/85 and Lüleburgaz in 1895/96. The lists have no entry for 1885 to 1895. In all, 12 years of salary come to 139,200 kuruş, 2.3 times what an official on the median salary earned in those years. The final annual entry is for 1895/96.
