Life and register readings
Mehmed Memduh Bey was born in Bursa in 1877/78 (AH 1294) into the İslam community. The personnel record dates the first work to 1900/01, after the first annual entry, on a first salary of 500 kuruş. The first annual entry, for 1898/99, names Mehmed Memduh as Hüdâvendigâr vilâyeti maiyyet-i me'murluğu (işe mübaşeret), with no place. For 1901 to 1903 the lists have no entry. The annual lists then follow Mehmed Memduh to Midyat in 1904/05. The lists have no entry for 1905 to 1907. The last entries, from 1907 to 1910, name Mehmed Memduh as (Okunamadı) kazası kai'makamlığı, with no place. In place of a title the lists give Infisal for 1903/04.
