Life and register readings
Born in Bursa in 1821/22 (AH 1237), Mehmed Emin Efendi came from the İslam community. Mehmed Emin studied at a school for young children (Sıbyan Mektebi).
At about 20, in 1842/43, Mehmed Emin began work. The annual lists begin in 1842/43, with Mehmed Emin as Hüdâvendigâr vilâyeti mektûbî kalemine mülâzemet; mülâzım and no place named.
